Job Summary
Location: Lac Du Bonnet, Pinawa, Whitemouth
Class 1 Truck Drivers are responsible to assist with large equipment moves for the installation of underground infrastructure for fibre optic and associated distribution components.
Responsibilities
- Adhering to company policies and ensuring safety is priority
- Driving to and from work locations to perform daily tasks
- Operating vehicles and equipment in a safe manner, always adhering to company policies
- Utilizing hand tools and powered tools
- Maintaining vehicles and equipment
- Loading and transporting heavy equipment, dozers, excavators
- Abiding by local municipality, client and company polices
Requirements
- Available to work out of town
- Maintain a valid drivers license (Class 1)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Able to work with a group or independently
- Valid CSTS / WHMIS
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating semi tractor, telehandler, and loading dozers and excavators on to low boy trailer.
Employment Terms
- Full-time seasonal. Weekend and night work could be required during build season. Pay based on experience. Location based around Lac Du Bonnet, Pinawa, Whitemouth Manitoba areas.
