Now safely on site, Chemco is proud to have been a part of the team that helped get it there. Chemco worked with Dacro, IPPL, Epcor, and Telus to remove and re-locate electrical services, phone lines, and fiber lines for businesses along 51 Avenue in Edmonton to facilitate the transport of the IPPL splitter. This was the heaviest transport project in the history of the province. The splitter is 820-tonnes and 96-metres long.
A quote from the IPPL representative that Chemco worked with: “The splitter and crew have arrived safely at site. Chemco should be proud, as your team played a huge role in the success of this historic move.”
